My poem is about the political constitution of Colombia in 1991. I wrote it from the 

perspective of the Colombian citizens because this event in Colombia is very important because this 

document includes the human rights. This poem is written in rhyming couplets because I think it was 

the best way to express my event and it was the best way to show how I rhymed and it makes more 

sense that way.

"Political Constitution"

In the political constitution of 1991

Are included the human rights of everyone and each one.

It's the current governing document of the Republic of Colombia 

It was an amazing news like if the war had stopped for the Colombians. 

After this event people could have their own beliefs ;

Their life is an ice cold cup and they don't depend any longer on other people's choices;

They were free as a falling leaf.

After 1991 people have a voice. 

This event marked people's lives;

 It stopped some cries.

People were very happy

That day was a relief, since then they never seem unhappy. 

Freedom is a gratifying feeling that all Colombian citizens love

 It is the best thing that has happened in many years, kind of.
