I wrote a poem about how a company named BioMechanics, with the help of Disney, is making prosthetics with hero themes for kids. This is something important because it is a really good cause and it it is making lots of kids happy all over the world. This poem is told from the perspective of a prosthetic and how it feels to give happiness to a person. I wrote this poem in free verse.

 

"I am a Prosthetic"

 

I was born in a 3D printer

I am from a big company

I’ve got brothers and sisters that look like celebrities just like me

We are Iron Man and Elsa and Star Wars too

We make children happy

We make children laugh

We make kids feel better about who they are

Kids smile like a clown when they see us around

They move us up and down like a roller coaster

We are superheroes once we save their lives

They jump like kangaroos

And most important of all they love us more than ice cream which I guess is hard to do.
