     My poem is about the time when NASA found liquid in Mars. The perspective I wrote my poem in  is from Mars. This event is really important because this discovery could make Mars a safe place to live, where people could go to and live in a  not contaminated environment. My poem is a free verse poem. I chose it because I think this is the best way to express your feelings. I hope you enjoy my poem.

 

"NASA found liquid on Mars"

 

NASA found a liquid like water on me.

NASA is like the brain of my neighbor, Earth.

 

Scientists want to come here,

but they know they can't bring microwaves

because they don't want to contaminate me.

 

When the robot landed on me it made me tickle, and

I smelled the dust he made walking on me.

     

I want them to come here but I don't want them to

contaminate me.
